» 2009 Bordeaux for under $10?!? Yes, please!
Via 56 Degree Wine:
2009 Chateau de Monrepos Bordeaux Rouge

As one of the most outrageous values we’ve uncovered not only this year but in our entire history, I defy you to find more bang for the buck than this juicy little red from Bordeaux. Without trying to oversimplify things, it’s just really good red wine. No oak, but who cares? It’s so lovable and vibrant, filled with black cherries, raspberry, cola and leather. Clean, balanced and with such personality, I can’t believe how reasonably priced this wine is. This is one to load up on by the case as it won’t set you back much and you can have guilt-free drinking on the daily. Wow!
